The last week of January was crazy warm again – 50 degrees! It was perfect weather for the bees to do some flying and a great opportunity for me to take a quick peek to see how they are doing.

There were plenty of bees in three of the hives! I placed a large block of candy in each hive to help them thru the winter.

This hive I am a bit concerned about. They don’t have the population the other three hives had. I’m hoping they will make it thru the winter.
